Is there a minimum fabric order?
Minimum orders vary by fabric. Many drapery and decorative fabrics are available in smaller quantities, while select designer, specialty, or furniture-grade fabrics require a 10-yard minimum. Any minimum-order requirement will be noted in the product description.
Can I order fabric samples before purchasing yardage?
Yes — fabric swatches are available so you can review color, texture, and weight before placing a larger order. Email your name, address, and the fabric name, and we'll ship your sample via USPS. Contact us to confirm sample availability for the fabrics you're considering.

Do you ship nationwide?
Yes, Beautiful Windows Elgin ships home décor fabrics across the United States, and international shipping is available through UPS and USPS, with available services determined by your destination, package size, and order contents.
When will my fabric order ship?
In-stock fabric orders typically ship within 24 hours after payment. If an order exceeds our current stock, please allow a 7–10 business-day delay while we restock directly from the mill. Custom drapery follows a separate production timeline — see "How long does custom drapery take?" below.
What is your return policy?
Because fabrics are cut to order, all sales are final. We recommend reviewing your fabric selection carefully before purchasing.
Custom Drapery & Appointments
Do you charge for fabric advice?
No — expert help choosing fabric, colors, and textures is free by phone, text, or email, and fabric samples are free on request. We also offer free video consultations for customers interested in custom drapery.
Do you make custom drapery?
Yes! Our custom drapery is made to your measurements and preferred header style, such as pinch pleat. We also offer ready-made curtain panels for standard windows.
How long does custom drapery take?
Most custom orders are completed within a few weeks, depending on fabric selection and design. We'll confirm an estimated timeline for your project.
Can you help with measurements?
Yes — we'll guide you through measuring your windows, or measure for you during a consultation visit.
Where do you install?
Installation is available in Columbia, SC, and surrounding communities. Out-of-state installation may be available depending on project scope — contact us to discuss.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are required for consultations, custom drapery orders, and in-home visits in Columbia and surrounding communities. Shop fabrics online anytime — no appointment needed. Our Columbia showroom is open Tuesday–Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Please call before visiting.
